Large choice

A large separate vegan menu, with tons of choices. Service quite slow, not sure the staffing levels are up to the number of tables they have, as a large garden as well as restaurant. Delicious raspberry and frangipani tart, yum yum

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Slow service

Ego at Running Mare

Now the Ego at Running Mare. Great separate vegan menu. With many choices for starters, mains and desert.
I had the vegan risotto and vegan ice cream. Both were delicious. They also had a kids menu with a pasta that could be made vegan.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Kids choice

So many options!

I came here for a family meal with my partner (vegan), 2 under 6s, 4 more under 18s, my nan and then aunts and uncle (none of whom are vegan or vegetarian). Point is: big group. The staff were really kind, and tried their best to check in with us regularly when it was so busy (seems super necessary to check even when not a big group). The youngest child didnt like his meal and refused to eat it and they offered to replace it. However we ended up waiting 40 mins for our starters, 1.5hrs for our main meals and had to ask twice for the bill. I got a vegan margarita pizza and shared garlic pizza bread with vegan cheese on top with my partner. Obviously their very similar but I’m like 100% sure that they were the same base and same cheese. Really good!! But the pizza pizza was super oily and I had to blot it off to feel about eating it. Lucy got veggie pasta which she enjoyed. I guess really good option for meals out with non vegans for sure!! But probably better places to go for vegan groups otherwise
