Prefer the Felton branch - Edit
A nice place for vegan afternoon tea however the Felton branch seems to be better stocked for vegans. If you’re going for the name, go to Felton. If you’re going because you’re in the area and fancy afternoon tea, this will be fine. Felton offered a wider selection of cakes and vegan cream for scones rather than butter.

V nice - Edit
Wholesome food but not too filling, tasty. Nice big space and seating outside as well. The dog we had with us got excited every time a doorbell went off! (When an order was ready). One of us had vegan sausage sarnie, one had the flafel w chilli chutney, a nice touch

Yum yum! 😋 - Edit
We were given a high tea here and it was really nice. The room we were in was like a conservatory with trees in, which added to the ambience. The high tea itself was really tasty - sandwich, pasty, scone and a cake! There was so much we couldn't finish it and took some home for the next day. They have taken some vegan options off the high tea menu, but the ones on there still are really nice.

Limited choice but delicious - Edit
Very friendly staff. There weren’t many savoury vegan options but what I had was lovely- a falafel, sweet potato and houmous sandwich.

Really nice cafe with vegan cake, breakfast and more - Edit
A nice cafe with a menu labelled with vegan options including a cooked breakfast. Two labelled vegan cakes on display, and two dofferent ones two days later, so they must rotate.
Read moreMenu offers plant milks for all drinks.
No pasties/pies for vegans.
Opted for takeaway on all visits.

Decent lunch spot - Edit
There were a couple of vegan options on the menu which was nice for a little place like this. The portions are very generous which is nice (huge amounts of bread!), but the flavours didn’t really do it for me - tasted very much of chilli jam and not a lot else. However, it’s a cute little place that would work as a speedy lunch stop.

Great vegan afternoon tea - Edit
Limited options vegan wise, but the food and service was great. The staff had a specialized vegan menu for afternoon tea. The options were falafel and hummus or hummus and chili jam sandwiches, onion bhaji or steakless bake pasty for pies and biscoff cake (only option) plus vegan scones. There were a few different non-dairy choices of milk for the coffees also (almond, soy and oat I believe). Staff were excellent and so friendly. Dogs welcome too which was a bonus!

Delicious and warming soup, great choice of vegan cakes, - Edit
Dog friendly and great vegan options available, unfortunately on this occasion they couldn’t guarantee the vegan options were also gluten-free as they buy them in but they plan to rectify this 😁
