Nicely presented, variety of vegan options - Edit
Quite a few vegan options on the menu at the moment - one brunch, one light bite, two mains, and one sandwich. Good to see the variety of choices. I had the "aubergine and chickpea curry", which had no aubergine. It was beautifully presented. More of a tomato stew than a curry. Nice enough but quite expensive for very safe/minimal flavour.

Surprisingly good - Edit
A visiting friend fancied The Royal Oak, I was a bit sceptical and worried I’d have terrible choices, but we had an excellent experience. The staff who served us were extremely friendly and helpful, careful to explain everything.

There were several vegan options, and the lady serving us was very friendly. I had a bhaji burger, it was very delicious. They had a good pudding.
