The Root

Malutkie pomieszczenie i żarcie w sumie tylko na wynos ale bardzo dobre. Polecam wrapa Kiełbaska Seitan i Teriyaki Tempeh.

Loved the vibe of this little, mostly take away place. I got a couple orders of sushi here and while I liked them a lot, I wasn't blown away, especially by comparison to the sushi places in Warsaw. However, this Wroclaw, so they should be commended. Would love to try their other options one day.

This place is small but perfectly formed! The food is just fantastic - beautiful presentation, great variety, sushi of the month for the regulars, gluten-free options available for no extra charge, and so, so tasty!

We went here a couple of times - the second time we loaded up with a few things for our journey home. Just so delicious! The cake is also great.

I think it's one of the two best places in Wroclaw. Our other fave being Vega.

Staff are friendly, too, and will explain what everything is in English.

Only downside is the wait and small size of the place - it's pretty good so clearly popular with non-vegan locals, too.

We had here one of the best lunch experiences in Wrocław.

We tasted the falafel wrap,the "I love Poland" sushi dish and the chocolate pączki (donut). All were delicious!

The only con is that the place is mostly take away.

I was visiting Wroclaw for the New Horizons film festival was in a hurry between screenings and The Root was a hidden gem right next to the cinema.

The Root mainly serves wraps, sushi and soup. Lokal non-alcholic beverage "Dobry Material" (transl. Good stuff) from Wroclaw. I tried the Lime & ginger soda. Apple must from Czech republic with anarchistic icons on the bottle :D

First day I tried the Wrap with Seitan. Great value for the money. The seitan was prepared nicely with a barbercue sauce.

Next lunch i dared to try the cross-over cuisine "I love Poland". Rice with red boots, pickled pepper and mayo. It was tasty!

However, the best thing I had was the chocolate doughnuts. It melted in my mouth, a fully replacement for a missed breakfast after a long night out. ;)

Absolutely amazing. Very friendly stuff, too bed they have such a small place to sit in. Vegan donats :-)

This is a mostly takeout restaurant (4 seats if you want to sit and eat) just outside the city center (near Kino Nowe Horyzonty movie theatre) with a selection of wraps and sushi. As well as a vegan box of the day and soup. I've been there a few times since they opened and have tried a bit of everything. The sushi and miso soup have been my favorite so far, but I also liked the wraps and the chili box I tried.

The sushi really is something unique as far as sushi is concerned. It's much more gourmet than you'd expect from a takeout restaurant and I think you'll be quite happy if you order it.
