The Best! - Edit

One of THE best vegan meals I have ever had in my life. 2 vegans, 1 non-vegan, all enjoyed. The Root Cellar Veggie Burger on greens with Kale Caesar for me which made my taste buds do the watoosie. My daughter had a humongous enchilada and is still raving! Before we finished our meal we had already decided we were coming back. The food is delicious, the service awesome and the price is right. I would give it 5 stars if I could

Pros: Will veganize many dishes, The chef knows what flavour is

Cons: Haven't found any other than the meat

I'd give them 5 stars!!! - Edit

Though they are not a veggie/vegan restaurant, the choices were great and the food was DELICIOUS!The miso sauce on the burger was great and everything tasted freshly made.
You could see that they put lots of thought in their meals.👍

Pros: lots of vegan options

Cons: perhaps they mix up the dishes and frying pans etc

This place is amazing - Edit

I really enjoyed eating here. I would have rated it 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed, even though it's not exclusively veg. I ordered the veggie burger, vegan style, on greens instead of the bun. It was SO delicious, one of the best veggie burgers I've had, with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and a house-made vegan mayo. I also ordered the chocolate cardamom mousse. It, too, was very tasty, although very sweet. The decor and service were wonderful. I've already recommended this place to friends and definitely plan on coming again.

Pros: many great vegan options, beautiful atmosphere, all seasonal, local and organic

Cute Quaint and full of options - Edit

Incredible atmosphere and staff. It was very nice eating here and I just recently discovered their existence. The menu has loads of options for a Vegan like myself, it clearly states on most options "Ask to make it Vegan" and they will accommodate happily.

They make a poutine out of potato wedges and a specially formulated Miso blend of gravy with Daiya on it that is amazing! Very filling as well for a standard poutine price.

I look forward to eating here in the future more often and trying out other Vegan items on the menu and am hopeful that in the future they convert to an all Organic, All Vegan establishment. :) Amazing experience.

Four Cows due to the menu not being entirely Vegan but agreed with another poster, five cows for the Vegan food!

Pros: Organic, Very Vegan Friendly, Happy/Romantic Atmosphere

Cons: Not Entirely Vegan but step in , Better direction

Cinnamon Bun! - Edit

It's mostly not vegan, but what is vegan is great. I had a terrific meal and soup, and topped it off with a fantastic cinnamon bun. The meal gets 5 cows, but the restaurant gets 4 cows for not being all vegan.
