10/10 fantastic! - Edit

I went here last night. We all loved the food. Most of the main and entres had vegan options (popcorn faux chicken was amazing) and all of the desserts had vegan options. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly.

Great grub, great vibe - Edit

Large variety of vegan options, all meals are delicious!! Good price! Great atmosphere although the bar staff are pretty dull and disinterested in providing good service, definitely not with a smile.

Go and get a drink early, rip it off like a bandaid and enjoy

Pros: Vegan Aioli

Cons: Rude bar staff seem disinterested in serving you.

Mmmm Tasty..You must Visit. - Edit

Relaxed atmosphere this hotel only four kilometres from the city is a great time out. They support local bands and encourage vegan eating.
Everything in the menu is option as vegan alternative so you can bring meat eaters with you if you like.
Overall the food is very tasty and satisfying.
Give it a try!

Vegan vibe differentiates this pub - Edit

It's a pub with sticky floors, a beer garden, live bands and heaving crowds at times. There's trivia nights and cheap taco nights as well as other events.

But, it is easy to order vegan food here. I love the mexican pizza, or the vegan nachos. There's even dessert options! I love it - the hardest part is deciding what to have.

Pub pricing, friendly crowds and service.

Pros: Vegans happily catered for, Taco night includes vegan options, Pub vibe good for omnis

Cons: Serves meat, Sometimes hard to get a table

Mexican mmmm - Edit

The tasty Mexican inspired Vegan options are a definite winner. Shared and enjoyed a Quesadilla & Vegan Breakfast Burrito on my first visit. Will stop by again next time we are in Footscray.

Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

The new national flag - Edit

The Reverence hotel has multiple Vegan options that are mainly of mexican origin. Generally decent prices and large servings of above average standard food. Knowledgeable and friendly staff add to this and make this a must visit (at least once) option in and around Melbourne.

Pros: Vegan flags

Good stuff - Edit

I've been to this place several times in the last couple of weeks, after only recently finding out that it served vegan food. It's a pub, so the environment is what you'd expect, no frills. You order at the counter, take a number and find a seat. Most times I've been here, I've had no time grabbing a table, but if you come later it might be a bit more crowded, particularly if there's a gig on and they take the tables out of the band room. For me part of the beauty of this place is that you can go to a pub for a night out in (Footscray) and not worry about whether you can eat anything. The food has a Mexican theme, and is pretty good. The menu has several, clearly marked vegan (or veganisable) items and the staff are generally very able to help (and friendly). I've had the chance to sample the Mexican Bean pizza, vegan tacos and a vegan torta, all of which were fine. I also tried the chocolate empanada (with vegan ice cream), which, while interesting, was pretty full-on (intense chocolate and deep fried!)and the chocolate was just a little too heavy on the chili for my taste. Tuesday night is taco night and they have $3 tacos, three or four of which would make a decent-sized meal. Now a regular haunt for me.

Pros: Substantial vegan menu in a pub , Vegan dessert

Cons: Crowded some nights
