Food More Inspiring Than The Name

Much like with majority of European cities I visited on my recent jaunt around the continent, finding a breakfast buffet that could supply adequate plant-based options to make the expense worthwhile proved problematic in Prague. However, this elegantly appointed, stylish restaurant was on hand to temporarily buck that trend.
Although it wasn’t littered with the same plethora of options as you might find elsewhere in world (my adopted home being very much one of these), there was still enough on offer here to satisfy even the most voracious of diners i.e. me.
The availability of plant-based milks on the spread is always a tell-tale sign that you are on to a winner. Cereal, too, is a massive win, and the strawberry granola was incredibly moreish.
When it came to the cooked selection, once again it was a case of quality over quantity. From perfectly roasted potatoes to above average beans, and from most falafel to incredibly moreish steamed vegetables, there was zero complaints to be levied at any of the items.
Other noteworthy items included the saffron laced hummus, which was delightful, and the vegan banana loaf. While the latter wasn’t the finest bake I’ve ever had - in true, it was touch dry - it was nevertheless a welcome addition to proceedings.
In a landscape of sparse choices, this restaurant not only provided sanctuary, but it also produced a very worthy meal. Definitely worth a look-in if you’re seeking a hearty feed before tackling the arduous climb up to the castle.
