So glad this is in my neighborhood

I finally thought to add Reisters Daughter to HappyCow because I am a longtime fan of theirs. I both live and work near it, and my partner and I are frequent customers because we love their vegan options.

The owner tries hard to make sure there are always vegan food items (most often delicious blueberry muffins for the baked goods), and these items are tasty. I recently tried the relatively new vegan panini and thoroughly enjoyed it.

You can get several different non-dairy milks (though at a surcharge). Syrups for drinks are usually housemade and vegan from what I have been told, including vanilla, almond, and “Tuscan sunrise” (black tea, bergamot, and spices… it’s handsdown my and my partner’s favorite flavor!). The owner makes, and sells at the shop, several tea blends. I love both their coffees and teas.

The shop is in a cute historical building on Main St. There is a cute outdoor area behind the shop as well as a free parking lot there.

It’s great to see them busy most weekends, but sometimes this means no seating since there’s not many tables and chairs inside and sometimes a wait for your order to be ready. Regardless, my partner and I love having this independent coffee shop in our neighborhood, especially since we don’t have a lot of vegan options in our area.

Pros: Good variety of vegan options , Vegan food items clearly labeled , Tasty

Cons: Can get busy on weekends
