wet cold sunday and I found this little café tucked away next to the happy apple supermarket...it was great, food was excellent, coffee first class and the service good...thank you

Good veg burgers - Edit
Cosy café next to the Happy Apple store, off High Street. Besides coffees and teas, they offer three veg burgers. The burgers themselves are vegan; there may be non-vegan toppings or spreads that can be left off if you’re vegan. I’ve now had both the Herbie burger (without the mayo), in a small bun (bap), and it was good, tasty and just £3.50; and the Smokey Veggie Burger with sweet chili sauce, £4. On a Sunday after 3 pm, when other places were closed, I appreciated being able to order food, and the smokey veggie burger was delicious. Cut in half and served on two buns (baps), it made a very satisfying meal.
Pros: open on Sundays, pleasant, helpful staff, central location
