Very limited vegan offering - Edit
This pub is a busy place, has great views of the sea. There is 1 vegan option, a winter salad as a main. We asked if anything else could be 'veganised'. After speaking to the chef it was felt a reluctance to modify anything as we were told ' chef would have to heavily amend a mushroom burger' which we found astonishing. Anyway, when it came it was tasty and plentiful. I only give this place 2 stars as the waiter then went on to say how they dont get asked for vegan anymore, unlike 2 years ago lots of people were asking...i feel our prescence as a vegan was just not welcome. There are better eateries in Cromer for vegans.

Vegan fish and chips! - Edit
It feels weird to give a place with so few vegan options 4 stars but the vegan fish and chips was just the thing I wanted! Its not on their main menu so ask for a separate one. Adding a bit of nori to the banana blossom would have made this even better.

Great beer, vegan menu - Edit
Had an evening meal. Asked for the vegan menu. Only 1 choice, but to be honest, it's best when there is just one and it's really good. Sourdough, olives and oil to start. Then fake fish, chips and peas. All completely perfect. There wasn't room unfortunately for the brownie dessert. Nice posh pub food with fabulous huge choice of real ales. Great photography on the walls. Staff were amazing!
