Serves meat, vegan options available. English country pub that is completely gluten free with a separate vegan menu. To start there is a vegan soup of the day and mushrooms on toast. For mains choose from pizza, vegetable tempura, Thai curry, a vegan burger, vegan pasta and there is a vegan sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-22:00, Sat 12:00-22:30, Sun 12:00-18:00.

Best vegan Gf pie I've had! - Edit
Popped in for a quick lunch with my dad. It's great to know that everything is gluten-free, so I dont have to ask.

Omg seriously cannot believe how gorgeous the pie was, I love pastry and being gf you dont find decent pastry anywhere. I certainly did here!! The mash was creamy, the veg lovely and a lovely mini jug of gravy too, just the perfect amount.
I will definitely return, I'd like to try the puddings next time, but I was too full on this occasion 😁.

A great independent country pub with the USP of being gluten free. AND three genuinely attractive and interesting vegan options.
Read moreI went for the mushroom bourguignon pie; steamed veg and boiled new spuds. A great vegan twist on a British classic. And it was damn tasty!
For a more exotic choice, there was a sweet potato and spinach curry. Fancy a roast dinner, there's a nutty option.
Finding a little space left, I managed the banana bread pudding with custard. And yes, all vegan. And whoever came up with the idea of adding the banana to this national treasure of a pudding is assured a place in heaven.
A strong and delicious espresso topped off a fine dining experience.
The whole menu is small, but prepared and served with love and passion. I wouldn't call it limited, better to do fewer items well than an array of ready made mediocrity.
But what's very impressive is an actual choice of vegan (and also vegetarian) options - tasty, filling and very pleasing.
Give them a try - you won't be disappointed 😋

Super friendly staff serving delicious food. Really nice to find a gluten free pub which offers so many vegan options! Highly recommend. Super cute boxer puppy.

Lovely Gluten Free Pub with a Vegan Menu - Edit
This is a lovely pub with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Everything is gluten free and they have a separate vegan menu. There are plenty of options including a vegan soup or the day or mushrooms on toast to start. We had one of each and they were both delicious.
Read moreThere are lots of main course options. I had the Thai vegetable curry, which was full of flavour and had a nice kick to it. My husband had the vegan burger with chips, and they did him a side salad too. He really enjoyed it. They offer a sticky toffee pudding for dessert which is so good!
A great place for vegans, especially those who are gluten free!
