Delicious Greek dinner

This place has plenty of delicious vegan options. Price and service were definitely ok. Will visit again on my next trip to London.

Really nice!

We had lunch here and had 5 dishes between us. This was more than enough! Lots of the menu is vegan. I highly recommend the fava bean dip and the chips

Pros: At least 1/3rd vegan

It’s a wrap for TRG

Heard good things about TRG so gave it a try. It wasn’t great. Wasn’t bad either but not what I’d hoped.

Vegan Souvlaki Meatball Wrap £7.50. A flatbread with vegan meatballs (more like fingers than balls), chips, fresh tomatoes, red onion, vegan alioli and sweet paprika. Bread was soft and warm but it wasn’t filled, was dry and didn’t have much alioli in it. Below average really. I guess you get what you pay for and it didn’t feel real at all.

Would I recommend? With the choices around Covent Garden - No

Would I go back? Nope - Sorry.

Nice restaurant with lots of vegan options

I enjoyed the range of options that were available. The food was really tasty and super filling! Very rich. The staff was friendly, restaurant is pretty popular so can get quite busy/noisy but it makes sense. A bit on the pricier side in my opinion but a nice experience overall, would probably visit again!

Pros: Lots of options that are clearly marked vegan, Tasty food, Good service

Cons: Restaurant can feel a bit crammed, Noisy during peak hours, Quite pricy for the portion sizes

Small portions, average food

This restaurant has a vegan menu, but they do not offer a full vegan dish, only sides. The portions cost around 5 pounds and are not satisfactory. The staff was not very nice either..

Bustling

We sat up stairs which was nice and bright. They obviously do a large pre-theatre trade and it was bustling. As the tables are packed in close the noise level is high. Service was efficient.

We opted for a mix of cold and hot mezes. Eight items between two was filling and totalled about £40 without drinks. Overall the food was ok but not great. Lots of the hot mezes were tomato based which I hadn't appreciated from the menu descriptions and I would definitely opt for a different mix next time for a bit of balance.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Wide selection of mezes

Cons: Noisy, Tables packed in, Disappointing moussaka

Enticing vegan menu

I was really excited to try the vegan menu here - it's quite an extensive menu with some really enticing options, with both hot and cold sharing dishes, larger wraps, and even baklava for dessert. We got a few hot dishes to share (giant beans, moussaka, and chickpea filo triangles), and found them all really tasty, particularly the crispy triangles. The sauce with the beans was really flavoursome, and we loved that the moussaka was made with jackfruit. You could tell that a lot of effort had gone into designing the vegan menu, and it definitely paid off.

The restaurant itself was quite hectic and crowded, which was a bit of a shame. The tables were so close together, we were almost sharing with our neighbours, and there were so many people in that there was an incredible din. We were hoping for more of a relaxing atmosphere, so it wasn't quite what we had in mind, but as long as you're prepared, it should be fine.
