Superb pizzas

All the pizzas on the menu are available in a plant based version. The two we had ( Hawaiian and ‘shroom) were both excellent and excellent value on a 2 for 1 Monday.

Tasty food

Lots of classic dishes that you often dont get vegan, used to be a mac and cheese.

Menu changes frequently so that is a shame, as well as the vegan cheese being different almost every time.

Still reliable and tasty!

Friendly service and delicious food

We had such great service and our food was delicious. We had the satay VFC popcorn ch*cken (sorry i didn’t get a photo as we dove straight in) the sauce was so so good. We had the Fun Guys pizza and the BUFF pizza to share both really tasty. Would recommend!

Interesting pub options

Usually pub food offer the same things - a vegan burger. But this pub offers two vegan pizzas and I can’t see why you can’t get the veggie pizza and add vegan cheese. They do vegan tacos. And lots of vegan salads.

The pizza and garlic bread was really nice! There was no vegan desserts listed on the menu. But I would go back there again.

Brilliant pizzas

One of my favourites in Hitchin. The menu changes fairly frequently but there is always at least one great vegan pizza option (or one that can be altered by swapping for vegan cheese), as well as one or two of the one-pot meals, plus starters and desserts – they do a vegan brownie or ice-cream sundae.
The pub itself is welcoming and fun, and the garden is great. Social distancing has been good when we've been in post-reopening, and ordering via the app is very convenient.
