Wonderful Experience - Edit
The Rabbit Hole is probably the best place to go for the best vegan afternoon tea in and around Stoke. The owner and other staff are very knowledgable about veganism and they’re all extremely accommodating. All teas are vegan and they provide a range of alternative milks.

I've had the pleasure of going to The Rabbit Hole twice now. As you can imagine from a themed venue, the interior is a bit quirky but screams that it's an afternoon tea room.
Read moreWhilst they don't offer a vegan version of their entire menu (they do a savoury afternoon tea for instance, which sadly isn't vegan - hence not a 5* review), they do cater for vegan afternoon tea which is the main event and boy is it good. There is always a vegan cake on hand, alongside smaller cakes/biscuits, a selection of sandwiches, scones (plain/fruit) with jams and butter and some other little treats like a mini jug of lemonade. You get to pick a Bird & Blend loose leaf tea from a vast menu made up of well known classics/traditional teas (e.g. earl grey creme that has. hint of vanilla) to more interesting options (like candy floss).
Staff are very friendly and knowledgable about vegan food.
I think the pricing is ok. Afternoon tea is an experience so will never be a great value proposition (in my opinion) but you get a quality serving from The Rabbit Hole.
Booking is advisable as it's a small venue and they get busy and booked up sometimes several weeks in advance.

Beautiful tea rooms offering a full vegan afternoon tea with four different vegan sandwich options available when I visited. Vegan teas, scones, biscuits and cakes also included. Brilliant service throughout from the restaurant owner. #Veganuary
