CLOSED: The Rabbit Hole

The moment you walk through the huge, carved wooden doors, you really feel as though you have magically found yourself in the story of Alice in Wonderland. From the ivy entwining on the ceiling, to the detailed wall art, painted by the artist Manaleha, this place has obviously been created with true love and care. Your eyes will constantly see something fascinating, art that captures your attention. This place is magical.

Every now and then in life, you get the pleasure of meeting incredible people. The kind of people who give off a beautiful energy, who seem to be really connected with the magic of this world. When walking into The Rabbit Hole, Ibiza, I was met by an incredibly kind soul. It was a Sunday and they were closed for the day, however the owner was in and even offered to make me food! It was one of my first days in Ibiza and didn't know the buses yet, so she even rang a cab for me, this is just one small example of how lovely the owners are! Visiting the restaurant a few times during my stay on Ibiza, just showed me further how lovely they are there.

With an ever changing menu, each plate is fresh and exciting. On my first visit, I ordered almost everything! It was too difficult to pick, it was all just amazing. Plus, as no animals were harmed and it was healthy, organic food, I felt no guilt enjoying the many plates of deliciousness!

It is obvious from the professionalism of the chef, to the ever changing menu, with the cleanliness of the kitchen, that their main goal is to deliver food that nurtures the human body. The restaurant even has shelves of books on nutrition, anyone is allowed to read. The fact that they know their science along with being so kind and generous, makes this place, my most favourite food paradise.

Every visit was like a new adventure as each seating area is different, each as charming as the other. The outside was my personal favourite, along with the room nearest to the kitchen as I appreciated the work of the chef, plus there was a plug there to charge my phone. They also have free wifi and it is it cool inside if you want a break from the heat.

Luckily Ibiza is quite small and the buses are cheap, very regular and go almost everywhere. There is no reason why you shouldn't experience The Rabbit Hole for yourself..

Number 3 bus will take you to San Rafael, almost the middle of the island, along the C-731 road. The bus is regular and only a couple of euros!

I love this cosy place!
The food is 100% vegan and gluten free, delicious desserts, raw food, fresh organic juices and smoothies.
Free wifi and lovely terrace. It's far away from the "noisy" part of the island, just go and relax!

This is as hippie as is gets. Love it. Vegan raw stuff and a small market for basics. We need more places like this. Backyards for eating outside. Absolutely not commercial :-) Also had a few great organic wines we bought.

Beautiful place and really good food! English, Italian and Spanish speaking. Good to relax.

This place is good if you want to get some home produce, there is not much choice of fresh food behind the bar, but there is always something, I come here to do a small shop for home...

Al The Rabbit Hole qualcunque cosa mangiate sarà buonissimo!
Qualità prezzo molto buono. L'ambiente curato e veramente accogliente!

i've been coming to the rabbit hole since they opened for their 2014 season!

their food is always fresh and with great flavors. My favorite is their vegan cheese on bread with tomatoes with garlic on top. Veggie sushi is great!

its great to sit down and have a cafe with lunch or take some food home.

This place rocks! Great staff. Food and drinks are delicious too. Lovely selection of vegan and raw foods as well as a proper coffee. Small retail shop attached. Isotta, the owner is a beautiful soul with passion for what she does.

Once in a while I stumble across a place that I really like and would like to go back to again and again... This is one of those places. Easily the best vegetarian/ vegan food I've had in Ibiza so far, although strictly speaking it's not a restaurant.

The veg sushi rolls were wonderful, the black rice with pistachio pate was out of this world, the coffee was fine. A very enjoyable vegan food experience full of flavour. Clearly a creatively thought out selection of treats, and a rich blend of high quality ingredients.

Oh, and I liked the cozy interior and the retro touches. And the staff too. A winner!
