Just walking past The Purple Carrot is an experience. The window display looks good enough to eat, and the smell emanating is divine. Food is delicious and large.

This café was highly recommend and lived up to expectations. The food was absolutely delicious drinks delicious and the general vibe was lovely. The grilled l mushroom sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever tasted and I actually went to bed that night dreaming of another one. Please visit you'll be glad you did.

What a fab little place, food was super yummy, I had a burrito bowl and my partner had a mushroom sandwich bowl, both really delicious. Cakes look amazing, we have taken two away with us. The girl serving was really lovely! Highly recommend.

The best vegan food I've ever eaten! - Edit
Took my meat eating family here and even they were overwhelmed by how good the food was. Everything except two dishes were vegan. Definitely worth every penny! The walnut brownie is simply to die for.

So many amazing vegan choices on the menu, it was a real challenge to decide what to have! Everything we tried was delicious and this would be a definite regular go-to if I lived a bit nearer. Top marks all round!

I love this place. The food is all freshly prepared and full of flavour and the cakes are amazing. It's only small, which makes it feel very friendly. I will definitely be visiting again.

My number one recommendation..worth traveling a long distance to experience the wonderful selection of hot dishes, salads, and cakes. All home made and delicious. Generous portions, reasonable prices. If this was in London there would be a queue around the block! You MUST go here, totally awesome.

I was so pleased to learn about this place as up here in rural North Yorkshire we are a bit starved of vegan options. So whenever I am in Malton I make sure to call in for at least some cake. Great takeaway options, love the samosas and walnut brownies. I've had some lovely food here and I'm sure I'll have more😄

Tasty and hearty home cooked food. Was rustic polish inspired dishes when I went. Cakes and savouries are interesting and delicious. All very affordable and great quality with locally sourced ingredients. Check it out!
