NOT a Vegan kitchen - Edit
Ordered then found out after placing order there is meat in the kitchen! They refused to cancel the order and uber refused to refund me. I have allergies and it's unacceptable that they claim to be a vegan restaurant with animals in the kitchen! It's actually a ghost kitchen operating out of a regular restaurant. Please DO NOT use vegan in your name if you are not a 100% vegan restaurant!

Great Nepali and Indian food - Edit
They were very welcoming and the food was really good. I loved the momos (my first time trying them) and it was fantastic to have the palak tofu (it satisfied my cravings for something similar to palak paneer which has cheese).

Full vegan menu - Edit
The Proud Vegan is within another restaurant. We went in and said we were there for The Proud Vegan and they gave us an entire 3-4 page menu of only vegan items. They were all super delicious too and the atmosphere is really nice!

Not a fully vegan restaurant - Edit
We walked in to Proud Vegan excited. However it is ‘part’ of another restaurant that has many meat dishes. We were given the main restaurant menu which looked liked a normal meat based menu. We were puzzled, asked if this was the vegan restaurant, and then we were given a single menu with the word “vegan” taped on it.
Read moreOk, we thought…let’s give this a try.
We ordered a two person vegan platter but asked for rice instead of quinoa as one of us are allergic…we were told it will be an extra $2 for rice instead of quinoa. That was the final straw.
We left without eating.
The kitchen does not appear to be vegan. It is a normal restaurant that has vegan options.
Never going back.
Pros: Apparent separate vegan menu
Cons: Not a fully vegan restaurant, Inflexible ordering

Amazing Indian/Nepali vegan food - Edit
Discovered this place after browsing Doordash for biryani that didn’t contain yogurt or ghee, so this place is perfect to satisfy your craving for Indian food without having to worry about sneaked in dairy. Very authentic spices and flavour. Will definitely be ordering again.
