Vegan Welsh Rarebit - Edit
Great little cafe by the castle, serves a vegan version of their Welsh rarebit which is gorgeous! They have outdoor seating and the shop downstairs sells the cheese they use for the rarebit. Would definitely go back.

Cute Little Cafe Near Castle Entrance - Edit
Conveniently located by the Castle Coney entrance, this cute little cafe has a number of vegetarian and vegan options and were good about answering my questions regarding ingredients (I am not vegan, but allergic to eggs).
Read moreI had the vegan Welsh rarebit and it was wonderful! The salad was good and the roasted tomatoes we're positively magical, and I don't typically like tomatoes or salad! My non-veg husband had the traditional Welsh rarebit and also loved it (but kept commenting on the tomatoes--I'm not kidding about how amazing they were). Neither of us has had rarebit before, so nothing to compare it to, but we liked it very much all the same. We got a two person pot of the house blend tea, as well, and it was nice.
Service was friendly, if a tiny bit slow as there's only one person in the kitchen and one minding the till & clearing tables etc. The lady in the cheese shop downstairs is also very helpful and friendly, and they do stock a vegan "Welsh-style" cheddar "sheeze" there😄Space is very tight indoors, and it was raining, so we couldn't sit outside, but that space seems roomier.
Pros: Cute, Well Labeled Veg*n Options, Convenient Location
