Cute cafe

Loved the interior of the cafe with all the book shelves and decorations. I had the Frida Kahlo toastie. It was very tasty, especially the hot sauce. It was more a snack size than a whole lunch. Will return to try their incredible range of pies and vegan sweets.

Pros: Relaxing vibes amongst the books, Excellent range of vegan options on the menu, Delicious toastie

Disappointing

We showed up for breakfast, but there was literally nothing I could eat except a bliss ball, so not ideal! The coffee was good though.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Nothing I could eat when we went for beakfast

Tasty & Good Vibe

It’s basically a book store with a cafe at the front, serving vegan toasties, vegan pies (Funky Pies from Bondi), vegan baked sweets & great coffee with all the nut & grain juices (mylk) you can think of.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, indoor seating, toilet available, laptop-friendly cafe, located on Hunter Street with paid street parking on the Southern side of the street & a short walk from the city Tram station.

My favourite toastie is the Frida Kahlo with the spicy sauce & can definitely recommend all the vegan pies!

If eating & ordering a drink, expect to pay $15-20 per person.

You can also buy books or just read them while you’re here. #Veganuary

Pros: Tasty Vegan Toasties, Tasty Vegan ‘Funky Pies’, Atmosphere

Cons: Limited Parking, Can get busy (even on weekends), Toasties $11

Plenty of inconspicuous vegan options

The press is a fav for a relaxing unobtrusive breath of fresh in the middle of newy with plenty of plantbased option's.

Ben the barista is Vegan and was unjudgmental of my choices before i was vegan.

But to be pleasantly suprised upon my V waking i keep coming back.

This is a great place to sit and read with either a tea, espresso or nitro cold brew coffee. All of which can include any type of mylk or milk.

Vegan pies are bang'n and the vegan toasties are great, though lack attention to detail in presentation.
Plenty of vegan petit fours, cakes and slice options aswell.

Pros: Vegan petit fours, Vegan pies anx toasties, Vegan mylks

Cons: Food presentation

Amazing pies

I went in for a pie as a lunch treat. Super tasty Tuscan Mushroom! The staff were really lovely, talking me through my options. The pie was seriously good! I can’t wait to try other flavours. There are vegan toastier and some slices to try too!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great atmosphere , Friendly staff
