Unusual food

Several choices available in the vegetarian section of the menu but only a couple were vegan. Went for the mung bean stew, full of beans, carrots, potato and a strong ginger flavour. Served with rice and salad. Was'nt bad, good size, very filling. Also came with a free appetiser of a spring roll in tomato sauce, which was a little strange but tasted good.

Great food

Really great food, includes complimentary appetizer and cocktails! They only have about 5 vegetarian options, and the Turkish bean dish wasn't very filling

Pros: Complimentary appetizer

Cons: Not a ton of options

Better choices elsewhere

Espresso was good, I ordered the dahl curry - lentils were not entirely cooked & the portion is pretty small considering the hefty price tag although it was spiced tasty enough. Really inattentive staff. Borderline rude; wouldn't say 'good morning' back to me when I entered. Seemed put off I was even coming in for a meal & although there was only one other table they managed to forget my mango juice...

Cons: Not value for money, rude/inattentive staff

Good veg selection for Moalboal

Had dinner here and it was my favourite/most satisfying meal that I had while in Moalboal. Their menu has a page of vegetarian options, a few which can be made vegan. I had the Happy Hippy something... (it had a long, odd name) and it was like a stew with mung beans, potato and veg served with rice and a starter basic green salad. It was nice to have a meal in Moalboal that featured a substantial vegan protein because everything else I found was just stir fried veg (no tofu anywhere😒). Their main dishes also all come with a free appetizer and luckily for me the appetizer they were serving that evening was a veggie spring roll that happened to be vegan. I would recommend this spot if you are vegan in Moalboal.

Pros: Vegan dish with beans, Staff seemed knowledgeable about vegan food

Cons: Serves meat, Bit pricer than some other restaurants in town
