Chain owned by Vietnamese supermarket Longdan nextdoor. Offers a wide range of organic, vegan and vegetarian products, including mock meats. This branch open since Spring 2022. Please note that this store sells prawns and other non-vegan items.
Lots of vegan products but lots of non vegan products too so don't assume! Lots of Asian items which is good. Would visit if you're in the area, I live here and am thankful for it!
I was immensely disappointed to walk into a store that has a huge sign outside saying "The Plantbase Store", and the first thing I pick up is a bag of prawn crackers that contain real prawns. Continuing around the store I found the fridges were mostly stocked with meat and fish; and only maybe a quarter of their products are vegan. If they didn't advertise as a "plant-based store" that would be a fantastic amount of vegan goods; but I was left frustrated and disappointed that I wasted my time.
Im actually emotional. I found it hard to drag myself out, or move down each isle faster than a snails pace. Pretty much everything you can think of for your plant based needs are here.
Trouble is, and I'll try to phrase carefully, perhaps the people in the area nearby won't be interested, and it will close down. It would do better perhaps in Romford or west of Romford.

Pros: Sheer scale and range of goodies. Too much to try.
Cons: Won't last, not busy enough.
