An all-vegan food truck serving organic, non-gmo Japanese food, most of which is sushi, but also has curry and yakisoba. In addition, offers Japanese style drinks. As of May 2021, the truck can be found at Trader Joe's (2738 Hyperion Ave) on Wed-Thurs, in Santa Monica on Sat, and in Melrose on Sun. See FB for other locations and hours. Discontinued February 2024.

Wow. Just wow!!! I was blown away at how good the sushi is. I was a bit skeptical at first and stared at the menu for a while before selecting the Pi roll.
Read moreLet me just tell you - I was very pleased! First of all, aesthetically it looked like the real thing. Secondly- it tasted delicious but not fishy so in my opinion, better than the real thing! My wife who loves salmon also loved this roll and actually said she could possibly go vegan if we lived in LA. That’s a win!

I always stop at this truck if they’re at vegan popups or smorgasburg. In my opinion they have some of the best “seafood” like sushi out of all of the vegan food trucks.

I liked everything I got there! It tastes clean and not too salty. Half their food is fancy and the other half is simple. I tried the cucumber rolls, the fried dumplings, the seaweed salad, and the Salmon rolls. Amazing!

Good Rolls, Sad Curry, Too Much $$$ - Edit
Really great rolls, but as are most things on menu—severely overpriced ($18 a roll?!). The curry was 1/8 curry and 7/8 rice and totally lacked Umami. Does not offer brown rice substitution in rolls or bowls. I should have max spent $20 for rolls and curry, but it was $30. In short: they’re charging full service restaurant prices for food that lacks the quality, quantity and proportions to be priced as such. If they charged 25% less my complaints would not be so polarizing, but as soon as I opened the containers I felt like I’d been duped.

Nice friendly service. Lots to choose from on the menu. I found it a tad pricey for what I got , but it was good. Not the best sushi I’ve had, but always nice to have more vegan sushi available! Try it for yourself.
