Pizza Bandit is no longer in this location, the Yellow Cab Tavern has taken over. The menu looks almost the same, they do pizzas and garlic bread foods. I asked the current staff/owner about their vegan options. They claim they use Laughing Cow (she misspoke and said Sick Cow) for cheese and that the dough is vegan and even their garlic bread is vegan. No specific ingredients or anti cross-contamination practices mentioned. I would order with caution here

this place is bogus. has vegan options on the sign, but the employees tell you they don’t have vegan anything. Stood in line at a pizza festival only to find out after waiting an eternity this place is not vegan at all. Venue was awful, the festival had one vendor claiming to have vegan options, but didn’t. don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else.

The vegan ‘Bandit Bread’ is SO good!! Garlicky, cheesy, crispy perfection. They have 4 vegan dips to choose from including garlic butter (oil based) and marinara, all delicious.

Is the cheese on the ‘bandit bread’ “cheesy?” I guess I am worried about ordering it and it being a typical vegan cheese, which is a little gummy and just ok overall. But I’m looking for something that gives me something close to the nostalgia of non-vegan cheese bread (but vegan) lol

@GraceBowers Omg I know exactly what you mean! Vegan cheese being ‘gummy’ and sort of sticking to the roof of your mouth… I’m not a fan. 😭😭 The Bandit Bread I will say is worth trying… the corner pieces are yummy, more like the nostalgic non vegan ‘cheesy garlic bread’ we remember - perfect ratio of cheesy and crispy. But the center pieces do have a bit of that gummy feeling. 😫 If you like cold garlic bread, I found the texture and taste delicious the next morning!

This pizzeria has two vegan options one is the New York style pizza the other is the garlic bread they also have one salad which I would skip.
