No main meals, lack of options

Looking at the description on the app I was really looking forward to having lots of delicious food here after a long day at the beach with the family. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the options, there was only one vegan friendly starter, a couple of sides and that's it. I ordered everything vegan from the menu - garlic bruchetta which sounded amazing and although tasty, it didn't match the description at all. A side of chips was tiny as was the portion of pretty burnt onion rings, and the side dish of thai slaw was literally a tablespoon of cabbage mixed with sweet chilli sauce. I was happy to see a vegan option on the children's menu - veggie sausages (Linda McCartney I think) with waffles/chips and a choice of veg. Unfortunately the sausages were burnt and super dry. The food was ok for a pub, but disappointing in portion sizes and taste, I had a sandwich leftover from our lunch picnic as soon as we got to the car and some snacks at home. Very disappointed 😞

Pros: Children menu has a vegan option

Cons: No main meals, Lack of options, Food does not match description

Great vegan menu

Many delicious vegan and vegetarian options! The Pine Marten has a great variety of vegan dishes, so it is really worth visiting!

Pros: Seperate vegan menu, Allergens are clearly displayed for each dish

Cons: Also serves meat
