Read moreSo happy with the positive menu changes at the Petersfield! There are still a limited number of options that are both vegan & gluten-free, but the kitchen staff were so accommodating to make an absolutely delicious garlic & pumpkin gnocchi dish that was vegan and gluten-free! The apple crumble dessert was vegan and gluten-free by default, which was a wonderful surprise! Really tasty food and very knowledgeable about allergens 😊 Such a great improvement from a few years ago!

Visited the Petersfield for a Christmas Dinner back in December. They were really good with allergens (including gluten) but unfortunately, the food wasn’t that enjoyable.
The soup was really tasty, but came with very dry GF bread and no vegan spread (I ended up breaking it up and using it a croutons).
Again, the GF/VE Wellington was extremely dry, with the mushroom mince having an extremely strong/weird aftertaste. The veggie accompaniments were overcooked,the roasties weren’t crispy and the gravy was limited and watery.
I do really appreciate how accommodating they were with allergens, so I hope they can improve in the future.

Spectacular and cosy - Edit
We've been here a few times already and this place never disappoints. The moving mountains burger and tart dessert is amazing, but we had a vegan Sunday roast today and it was amazing!
