Wonderful food in a wonderful setting

Firstly, the decor at the Inn is fabulous (literally exactly to my taste, I was taking pictures for decorating ideas). The bar and dining areas are very cosy and there’s an outdoor area for when the weather is nice. There was only one marked vegan dish for each course (there was a risotto that may have been alterable but we didn’t ask). The starter was a leek & potato soup, but the weather was fabulous so we didn’t fancy that - instead we had a few bits from the bar menu - some hummus, roasted tomato breadsticks and olives. For main we both had a cauliflower and leek pie with mash and a side of truffle fries. The mash was heavenly (I could have eaten a plate of that alone) and the pie was the perfect size with plenty of filling. We shared some lovely vegan ice cream to finish. I’d 100% come back here for both the food and vibes.

Pros: Amazing location, Friendly staff

Cons: Fairly expensive
