Live jazz in Nottingham

Love this place, great atmosphere and amazing live music! We have been here every year for our anniversary and it has never disappointed! Offers vegan menu and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A bit on the pricier side but worth it for the live music and great food.

Pros: Live jazz, Vegan menu, Amazing staff

Cons: Expensive but worth it

Nice atmosphere really good drinks

The jazz nights was nice but since it’s a restaurant it’s quite loud. The drinks however were really good although on the strong side.

Dubious about the vegetarian menu.

An enjoyable atmosphere, slightly overbearing host who pounced on us the moment we walked through the door (and bizzare curtain over the door) and berated is with questions about our intent (drinks? Cocktails, dinner? Snacks). Quite overwhelming.

Was pleased to find a vegetarian/vegan menu was available, but concerned to find most vegetarian dishes had Pecorino Romano as an ingredient - which by its very name, due to it’s PDO status specifying the use of animal rennet is not vegetarian.

We had the cheeseboard for starter, and were assured by our overbearing host, that the cheeses were vegetarian. Although well presented and served with fresh focaccia, a very sweet chutney, and pesto, I have a horrible (and guilty) suspicion that the hard cheese included with the cheeseboard was Pecorino Romano.

My main was listed as vegan. And as far as I could tell, it was. But £14.50 for some pasta, olive oil and a few bits of roasted pepper was expensive and disappointing.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Live music nights, Very large range of cocktails

Cons: HIGHLY dubious vegetarian listings, Expensive
