Pizza pleasure! - Edit
Though I'm not a fan of eating here, it's a decent dive bar. The pizzas are great. Many vegan options. As you go down the menu, nearly all of the conventional pizzas can be made vegan. And...their faux meat products are homemade. They're much more vegetable tasting than all of the Beyond and Impossible stuff.

I loved it - Edit
What’s up with all these bad reviews?! I really enjoyed their pizza. The fact that they have vegan options at this local dive is awesome.

Mid - Edit
According to the reviews this is good pizza for Texas. Go for the music, friends, great beer and cider menu, and keep your vegan pizza expectations to a minimum. Not terrible by any means, but it’s not my favorite. Crust definitely makes up for some of it!

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Really tasty pizza, great local joint. Lots of vegan options for pizza toppings, including vegan cheese & meats, as well as tons of veggies.

Cool hang out but... - Edit
Texas doesn't have good pizza so don't get your hopes up. This pizza will take up space in your stomach but is not very tasty. It is a cool place to hang out with a nice patio and amazing jukebox full of punk hits. Maybe just go there for a drink and feed the jukebox.

good but not worth the high price - Edit
I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni, and vegan sausage and it was good. However, there wasn’t near enough cheese or toppings to justify the high price. I probably wouldn’t order from here again just because it’s too expensive for the quality you get.

Great Pizza, Low Key Dive - Edit
I love Pizza! As people have mentioned, it's pricey if you are getting it made vegan, but so is everywhere else in Austin (Via 313, Conan's, etc). I have eaten their vegan pies both at their location and to go about 10 times over the last year and I have never been disappointed. One of the keys to their vegan pies being so good is that they don't get heavy handed with the vegan cheese. Their house made mock meats are the bomb. I always thank them for having and keeping vegan options on the menu. Go here if you want that 80s pizza place vibe with a vegan twist.

Fail - Edit
I understand the cheese substitute is FYH, of which I approve, and the crust wasn't bad, but the sauce is more like a pasta sauce and made the pizza a soggy mess. Also, they charge a 33% upcharge to make a small pizza vegan. There's no way their food cost on FYH warrants that. A small pizza with spinach and garlic came to $18. For a wet mess. I've heard their meat analog toppings are good, but I doubt I'll ever find out.

Hot and humid w/no bottled water, not recommended - Edit
I've been here on Saturday nights in the past to see live music, and I wouldn't recommend this place for a good selection of vegan options. They only have soy cheese, which isn't very good, and even if you're an omnivore, the pizza isn't always that good, depending on who makes it. My band played here a few months ago, and it was a torture chamber with 100 degree heat from outside. They have no A/C, and the stage is even smaller than the one at Headhunters. I've seen much better venues.

Good, but make sure it's vegan - Edit
Most of the time this place gets it right, but I went with a group of vegan friends one time and they used TofuRella (which has casein) on their "vegan" pizza. This was at the Hyde Park location. Just call ahead to make sure they have FYH.

Vegan Pizza (with cheese)!!! - Edit
The Parlor, and Hyde Park Parlor, make an amazing vegan pizza. They don't always have all the vegan meat selections (and sometimes they may not have any), but just having a pizza with vegan cheese is something to celebrate! The thick crust is delicious. They also have nutritional yeast flakes for topping.
