Serves meat, vegan options available. Popular gastro pub with large gardens, in the village of Newton in Bowland. Accommodating as to vegan options and uses local produce to reduce its carbon footprint. The owner/chef makes fresh bread, and she uses coconut yogurt, almond milk, and oat cream in some desserts. Typical dishes could include such as pea and mint mousse & sourdough flatbread; aubergine caviar on flatbread; caramelized onion, celeriac and beetroot pie; potato gnocchi with watercress pesto; and chocolate peanut butter tart with caramel shard, oat cream. Open Wed-Fri 12:00pm-2:30pm, Wed-Fri 6:00pm-8:30pm, Sat 12:30pm-4:30pm, Sat 6:00pm-9:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-6:00pm.

Excellent gastro pub, vegan friendly - Edit
My partner and I were driving through the area and popped in with no booking or prior notice. Despite this, the chef was able to produce an excellent three course meal for us. Very friendly atmosphere and will definitely dine there again.

Vegan Options Available - Edit
I have visited The Parkers Arms several times, there is normally a vegan option on the menu, but I always give prior notice as it gets busy. Chef is very aware of what a vegan diet includes and makes wonderful Middle Eastern inspired dishes like aubergine caviar, falafel and houmous. Her pies are legendary. Vegan desserts are especially good using products like almond milk to make ice-cream & oat cream. Bread is homemade and usually vegan too. Happy to cater for allergies and intolerances with prior notice. Fabulous location with large gardens.
