Vegans don’t eat eggs or butter!!! - Edit
A group of 5 of us visited for breakfast after Saturday’s parkrun. 3 of us ordered the Avocado & tomato on toast - lovely with sun-dried tomato. Two ordered the vegan breakfast but it came initially with an egg. That was sent back then when it came again, there were portions of butter on the plates. They say they don’t have any marg which is a bit poor. There were a few vegan cakes to choose from (not as big a selection as Duthie Park cafe).

Good selection of vegan cakes but be very specific when ordering food - Edit
I ordered the vegan breakfast and it came out with an egg on top and some wrapped dairy butter hidden under the toast. Had to send it back for them to say “but it’s vegan it’s got the vegan sticker on it” and I had to say eggs aren’t vegan.
Read moreThey sorted it out no problem for me but then I noticed upon cutting something that they’d hidden dairy butter in a wrapper under the food and it had melted out and so I had a bit of it on the plate. Not really a major issue for me but if someone had a dairy allergy it wouldn’t have been good.
Also I went to the cafe in duthie park yesterday (same cafe as this one hence I’m mentioning it) and had the soup that was labelled vegan but again came with dairy butter on the side.
So just be very specific when you order food. Ask if they have vegan butter and ask not to have the dairy one. Overall the rest of the meal was nice. Would return. Shame about 50p surcharge for vegan milks though.

Cons: Not much choice for food besides cakes , Eggs on vegan breakfast?, Dairy butter on vegan meals

A few vegan options - Edit
I came here while working in the area earlier this month and they have vegan options available written on the menu, but surprisingly few options when I asked the staff. They had vegan cheese which I had on a baked potato with beans, and a few vegan cakes. The food was fine and the cake very nice. It's a lovely space in the park and a reasonable option for something to eat.

Helpful staff & Ample seating - Edit
Reopened in summer 2022 after temporary closed. The staff were very helpful with vegan options as I asked. I only had an iced coffee, which was lovely. Glad to see that they have many vegan treats, will try some next time! Lovely park to visit too. 😊
