Excellent - Edit
I found myself in Nagano on a Tuesday early evening with few vegan option offering places open and spotted this place on happy cow. I wanted to try something different (in addition to the dumplings of course) and had the mapo tofu with soy meat. It was amazing and like nothing I’ve have before. Really enjoyed the full meal. Nice staff too.

So good! - Edit
I came here on a Wednesday night at 5:45pm and the place was basically empty. The menu had clear vegan options and plenty to choose from. I got the Gyoza and mapo tofu and it was delicious and came out quick. I would definitely recommend for people with non vegans friends and just vegans in general! Such a good option near nagano station! And the price wasn’t bad at all! Not cheap but not overpriced. Would happily come back

No veg Mapo Tofu, bad food - Edit
Came for the Mapo Tofu mentioned by other reviews, but it was not on the vegetarian/vegan menu. Was met with an annoyed reaction when I asked if it was possible to make it without meat.

Friendly staff and amazing food - Edit
An amazing first meal in Nagano! Our waitress Asayo was knowledgeable about veganism, made excellent reccomendations, pointed out local specialties, and had made many of the Pickled vegetables herself. Easy to order from the iPad, which had a separate vegan/vegetarian tab. Went on a Wednesday night and it was quiet, which was nice after queuing for the last few meals. We had the gyoza, mapo tofu, Pickled vegetables, and bibimbap. All the food was fantastic, especially the gyoza.

Fun and delicious. - Edit
Some great tradional tofu and veggie vegan options. Easy ordering via ipad, a little hard to locate on Google maps but very easy 5 min walk from station. It's a regular stop when in Nagano city.

Delicious food & friendly staff - Edit
Do not miss this place if you are in Nagano. The lady who served us was so helpful and gave us recommendations. We had the pickled veggies, cheesy veggie gyozas and mapu tofu with soy meat. All were absolutely incredible (especially the tofu)! I wish I was in Nagano for longer so I could come back here.

Mapo tofu is a must! - Edit
Cute place with quite a few vegan options, on their own page on the iPad. The gyoza are good, but the mapo tofu was divine. It is a tiny bit spicy, but tastes so good. The staff are super friendly and understand vegan dishes.

Awesome vegan options! - Edit
Definitely come here if you’re in Nagano!
Read moreThere are multiple vegan gyoza options, as well as a couple other vegan dishes. All really, really great.
It’s also very easy to order. There is a QR code on their paper menu that takes you to a website to order (in English). All the vegan options are clearly laid out on their own menu. I asked the staff about vegan options and immediately they pointed me to the easy-to-use website, so ordering is very simple and clear.
On this app, only restaurants that are fully vegan can get five stars (hence why this place is four stars). But based on the quality of the vegan options, it deserves five stars!!
Other perks: It’s located very close to Nagano Station (five min walk), the atomsphere is cool, and staff are very friendly!

Can't speak highly enough of this place! - Edit
Everything was perfect. The staff came to our table to carefully explain what is vegan, what dishes are exclusive and special to the region, which dishes she likes best, and how to use all of the different dipping options on the table. She was so kind and warm, we laughed a lot. And the food. There is not only Gyoza but a full vegan/vegetarian menu. On the vegan menu all is vegan unless marked vegetarian. For options like the bibimbap you can choose with egg or without. Everything tasted outstanding, and was served piping hot with a local charm we didn't expect in a rather urban setting. The restaurant setting is so fun, the food is absolutely fantastic, the service is stunning. I especially recommend for vegans travelling with non-vegan friends as the menu options are extensive for both.

Great gyozas - Edit
One of the few places during my trip in japan where i can say i felt full afterwards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The gyozas was great and they also had vegetables such as menma, edamame and tofu. Was a great dinner place where you can order in english on a pad. Went there twice! Was not dissapointed

Nice izakaya which offers 4 different types of handmade vegan gyoza and also different side dishes like tofu and pickled vegetables. English menu available and the staff ist super friendly who introduced us to the menu and how to drink the Japanese sake.
