Vegan options if you ask!

Finding it suuuuper tricky to get good vegan options in Norfolk, but The Olive have a bunch of vegetarian menu items that can be made vegan on request. I ordered the sushi bowl with mushrooms and when I asked about making it vegan the chef said they would have to do it without sauce. The did give me some soy sauce with it though which made it a pretty decent option in a place with very few options!

Pros: Chef understood vegan, Veg options can be veganised, Pretty tasty!

Cons: No vegan option, have to ask, Pricey (but so is everything in N.I!), May have to forego protein

One soup and one salad

One vegetable soup on the specials board today, and a roast vegetable salad that comes with feta on the menu but they were happy to leave the feta cheese off. Salad was tasty with a balsamic vinaigrette. Plant based milks available for coffee.

Good coffee

They use bonsoy here which made a delicious coffee, currently you can’t buy soy milk at any grocery store on the island so cafes are your only choice if you’re into soy coffees.
We order the falafel no cheese, bowl of chips, and the veggie feta salad without feta. Everything has vegan written under the order on the doctor. The hot chips was delicious, neither the falafel wrap or salad was tasty, but not bad if you’re starving.

Some vegan options but specify you want vegan

They are one of the few places in town open everyday. Service is just ok, I ordered a fruit and granola bowl with coyo ...it came with regular yoghurt and honey though was on the side but I was looking forward to the coconut yoghurt. Specify if you want vegan. They have takeaway salads and frozen soups too with vegan options and plant milks. Takes a while if busy. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Pros: Ok food, Open everyday, Can be slow

Cons: Expensive like the rest of the island
