My favourite cafe! - Edit
I live near Hebden and I am a regular at The Old School Tearoom. The owners are veggie and they’re super friendly. They always have amazing vegan options here and it’s a great place to go before/after a walk in the dales. I love their vegan English breakfast. Also non vegans love it here too so a great place to go with friends/family.

The pancakes here were amazing! The cafe is super cute and the tables in the window seat have fantastic views. Can't wait to go back to try more.

Lovely cafe stop - very nice cakes - Edit
Selection of cakes, savoury bakes and hot drinks. Lovely cafe, not too busy and lots of options. Check their website first as sometimes the menu is reduced.

Great for vegan Dales walkers. - Edit
I sat in the window overlooking the valley and enjoyed a mushroom soup and generous fresh salad. A friendly, relaxed place with a separate vegan menu. Combine it with a walk along the beautiful Dales Way.

Excellent vegan Afternoon Tea - Edit
We came for the vegan afternoon tea and were all very impressed, would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the English afternoon tea experience while visiting the dales. You do need to book in advance for this (same goes with non vegan A.T). The price was very reasonable for what you get. We were 5 and just thought they would bring out only 3 tiers but we ended up all having our own tier of plates which was more than enough food each.

Pros: Very good afternoon tea at an affordable price

Countryside Gem - Edit
What a wonderful find in the Dales with such friendly staff. Such a welcome joy to find somewhere catering so well for vegetarians and vegans with such choice and quality of meals, snacks and cakes. We had a vegan burger, served with sweet potato fries and beautiful mixed salad. Great portion size but sadly too full for cake! Great coffees with choice of non-dairy milk. Clearly very popular with walkers and cyclists. The decor is attractive with lovely gifts for sale. If it’s busy inside or great weather there is also plenty of seating outside. Walks nearby. Very clean toilets.

Definitely recommended - Edit
Beautiful tea room and cafe with super friendly owners who are vegan and vegetarian. They have a huge separate vegan menu and the food is amazing. Very tasty and good portions. I tried the parsnip and watercress soup, falafel and avocado sandwich, and a butternut squash and chilli scone. They also do a vegan afternoon tea and cater for those who are gluten and sugar-free.

Excellent vegan options - highly recommend - Edit
Excellent small tea room / cafe with an extensive range of vegan options (approx 20 items on the vegan menu and also cakes). Also good options for non vegans. Very friendly staff. The food we had was delicious and all round one of the best experiences of eating out for vegan food. Would give 5 stars but the app only seems to allow 4 stars for “mixed” restaurants. Highly recommend and will go back for sure when in the area
