Very limited vegan options

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my lunch here last month. It is very poor for vegans now - only two options on the menu a main (a Dahl) or a baguette (hummus and chickpea). As I didn’t want a big £16 meal at lunch time this left just the baguette. It was large, but lacked any flavour and was very dry. I couldn’t really taste the hummus as it was quite sparse. The coleslaw on the side was nice. Sadly my coffee tasted awful and I struggled to drink it - I got a cup of tea with oat milk after which was fine.

The cakes however were better - two vegan options (these weren’t marked, you have to ask) and the cakes were very large portions especially for the price.

There may be more vegan option on the night time menus and the breakfast menu I believe.

The House of Marbles itself though is a fantastic place to visit! You can watch glass blowing, see the huge marble runs, and there’s a small museum and large gift shop.

Perhaps best to go for breakfast or tea and cake before exploring the House of Marbles!

Note it can get very busy.

Pros: The House of Marbles is interesting and quirky, HUGE size cake slices for the price

Cons: VERY limited vegan options on the lunch menu, Not clear which cakes a vegan (have to ask), Quality of vegan food isn’t brilliant

Interesting vegan options for omni cafe

Great to see some interesting options on the menu here, considering it is an omni cafe within a tourist attraction.
Not cheap, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Gets busy so booking is advisable.
You can also watch people make amazing glass creations in the workshop. Mesmerising marble runs and a large shop area.
Free parking and entry. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
