Lovely place with a view - Edit
A lovely glass window to watch the rain and world go by. Lots of vegan options, including a cake and a flapjack. With plant based oat milk for coffees. Food served til 2pm (they had a vg savory lunch option) and open til 3.30

The Old Post Office - Edit
Lovely café at the end of an eight-mile single-track road overlooking the loch. We spent a peaceful night here in the campervan (£5 donation to be made in the shop). The café is really cosy and also sells some local crafts. The menu isn’t extensive—just one vegan option for breakfast (avocado on toast) and one for lunch (roasted vegetables on bread).
Read moreThey had one traybake labelled vegan, but it had sold out. The other cakes weren’t labelled, but staff advised that the chocolate and orange one was suitable. Plant milk is available for drinks.
Friendly staff and a beautiful spot—just wish there were some more inventive vegan food options available there.

Red roofed joy - Edit
It was a joy to arrive at Lochbuie to this cafe, open on a Monday morning when many other isolated cafes are closed. Two vegan cakes were on offer; we tried both and the ginger cake was especially lovely. After our walk we were just in time for a bowl of really tasty vegan soup - sat outside overlooking the sea. Friendly service. Would definitely return

Nice location - Edit
Nice location, pretty views but it's a long drive to reach it!
Read moreThey only had 1 vegan dish (soup) and they had 2 vegan cakes (chocolate-banana and ginger loaf), they also have oat milk.
The coffee was delicious.
We didn't find the staff super friendly to be honest.
Also a shame that it's not dog friendly inside. We had to eat outside.
Pros: The coffee is super good
Cons: Not dog friendly

We are dog friendly people but we have an open kitchen and a small inside eating area so we are not allowed dogs in our building - not our decision but something that be have to abide by for lots of health and hygiene reasons.

Exceedingly good cake!! - Edit
Incredibly friendly staff with lots of local knowledge. Soup was vegan and homemade and also served some homemade vegan cake (divine). Oat milk available and coffee was local and a good roast.

Unexpected vegan treats - Edit
We were happy to find plant based chocolate brownie and fruit cake after a night at the campsite nearby.
Read moreThe staff made sure they used non dairy cocoa powder for my mocha, even show me the ingredients to make sure it was okay.
It's small, they might not have a lot of options but finding a few in such a remote place was very pleasant!
The view of Loch Buie is beautiful!
Pros: Great environnement , Nice staff
