Lacking flavour - Edit
Popped in for Sunday lunch and had the bean and butternut squash cobbler which was advertised as accompanied with crisp potatoes which were in fact wedges.
Read moreThe bean mix lacked flavour with very few beans. It was served with garden vegetables (just boiled) with roast potatoes and new potatoes. Essentially it was a meal of potatoes.
They had another vegan option and a couple of vegan starters as well as 1 dessert so perhaps they were better. But based on my experience I won't be going back as I definitely could do better at home!
Pros: Lots of options , Good service
Cons: Overpriced for the location , Food lacking flavour, Very little protein in meal

Good vegan choices - Edit
Impressed with the selection of vegan options which were clearly marked. Had vegan nachos as a shared starter which were lovely and then moving mountains burger with vegan halloumi and beetroot marmalade which was also very good. It was hard to decide what to go for!

A lovely hotel and restaurant - Edit
I was pleased to see the hotel's menu offered me a choice of starters and main courses. The food was delicious and high-quality. The hotel breakfast offered a vegan full English breakfast and this was excellent, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, vegan sausage and fried bread plus toast with vegan butter.
