Vegetarian café serving big plates, bowls, burgers, toasts & flatbreads, pancakes and sides. Vegan options are clearly marked. Previously known as The Herbarium. Reported to be vegetarian October 2025, despite being fully vegan before. Open Mon-Wed 09:00-16:00, Thu-Fri 09:30-21:00, Sat 09:00-16:00, Sun 10:00-16:00. Also has an evening menu on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-8:30pm, booking recommended.

Absolutely delicious - loved it - Edit

Love the energy of this place. Cosy and sweet with all sorts of nice little touches. Popped in for lunch and chai - wonderful and highly recommended.

Breakfast was delicious! Lots of tasty sandwiches and gorgeous cake. Highly recommended.

A good selection of delicious and inventive soups and sandwiches with amazing vegan cakes. Very dog friendly too and made us feel very welcome with the two dogs in tow.

Great sandwich! - Edit

1st place and 1st time in Lancaster. Great sandwich, good vibes, friendly staff. Defo recommend this place!

Pros: Vegan style cafe menu. The bread was amazing, soft, Like it was just made, Roast tomato & thyme sandwich, really works

Lovely lunch - Edit

Came with my son and daughter and we had a lovely lunch - sandwiches for them and a lovely courgette and sweetcorn fritter (GF and delicious). The lavender tea was surprisingly tasty as was the Moroccan mint. Fab atmosphere - relaxed and comfy.
