Used to have more vegan options

Tasty burger and fries. The house salad only had balsamic vinegar on top - a bit more seasoning would have been nice.

Pros: Tasty burger, Good atmosphere , Attentive and friendly staff

Cons: Less (interesting) vegan options than before, Risotto = pub classic? , Pricey

Large choice of vegan options!

Really lovely pub/restaurant on the river. You can book inside, or turn up and try and get a table outside.
All vegan options clearly labelled (VG).
Two starters, 4 mains (2 burgers, 1 pasta, 1 curry) and 2 desserts.
Highly recommend the BBQ cauliflower burger (better than the Moving Mountains burger)!
Great pub, nice atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. 👌

Really really tasty. With many vegan options

Now they have their summer menu. All vegan options are clearly marked (VG) Also many vegan beers and a vegan wine option. There was one started. The olives bread and oil. Was lovely. There is 3 main menu items. A super food salad/falafel burger and a katsu curry option. Well worth a visit.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff , Lovely lovely food.

Cons: None

Delightful Food

I visited The Old Barge recently for the first time since I was a little girl and was so pleasantly surprised by their wide selection of vegan food.

From mushroom stroganoff to pomodoro, there was a large range of hearty winter dishes (their menu changes seasonally) all very conveniently marked VG for vegan.

The atmosphere was so cosy. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and look forward to their summer menu!

Pros: Delicious food, Polite waitresses , Fast service

Cons: Expensive, No vegan dessert, More gluten free options would be nice
