Pleasant surprise in Alton IL - Edit
This really nice brewery had everything we needed, great atmosphere, nice staff and great vegan options and variety. The food was great the beer was good and I can’t wait to visit relatives again and go back.

Best place in Alton - Edit
Surprise gem in the little town of Alton. Many unique vegan and vegetarian options. Not to mention great beer and friendly service. Probably worth another trip!

In Alton with family and Old bakery beer Company all our needs. My husband and I are vegan and enjoyed the Jane Fonda and the Thai garbanzo bean burger while our family members who do eat meat enjoyed their food too. Great staff!

Good veg options but so-so execution - Edit
The menu has good veg options, and the beer is good, but the service was slow despite not being very busy. The execution on the food was just so-so, some items were not very warm. Would give it another try if in the area, but would not make a special trip.

Good food and good atmosphere. The menu made ordering easy with vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled. I had the vegan "Chorizo" taco, which tasted very much like the real thing. Mind was blown 🤯 Big open spaces made social distancing easy.
