Distinctly Average
In a time some eateries are pushing the envelope with what they can achieve i find this The Oaktree's offering to be average at best. Ive eaten here a few times and at first (a fair few years ago) i thought it was ground-breaking, unfortunately I don't think they are doing enough to stay relevant and its a bit boring now. I wish them the best of luck for the future, I hope they can find a chef to add some pizzazz.

What a shame that in 2022, with businesses struggling all over the place and staff working under incredible amounts of pressure, an owner of another local vegan restaurant would decide this was a nice thing to do.
Especially after all the support we gave your business.

Sorry you don’t agree with my comments and youve seen this negatively, we’ll have to agree to to disagree. as a previous business owner I valued comprehensive constructive feedback that signposted what I could do to meet the expectations of our visitors, surely this is the purpose of feedback and not just the hear when you’re getting it right? It might just be a case the the Oaktree just isn’t for us anymore but happy cow is to review so I did just that, best of luck for the future 🤙

Just here to clear up, I am no longer an owner of a vegan business local or otherwise. Perhaps working on feedback may remedy some elements of struggle? Hoping you weather the storm, best.

Non existent customer services - stay away - Edit
We had a horrible experience. The stuff is totally disorganised and borderline rude. I called asking if the place is open, which they did confirm. We turn up in 10 - 15 min with my spouse and 2 small kids. The place was half empty. Now they told us they do not take any bookings - I say but I did call 10 min ago, to which they made an excuse that I did not make a booking. What a waste of time!! Happy cow does not allow less than 2 but this should really be -2 stars!!

Read moreUnfortunately, the day in question, we were fully booked and simply couldn't fit anyone else in. I suspect there may be a slight breakdown in communication here.
