Nuts Exchange is a small unassuming cafe that packs a real punch. I was blown away by the little breakfast muffins - definitely will get two next time, and the crepe cake and matcha were to die for. I look forward to returning soon!

I had the cheese muffin and shared the Mille crêpes and it was scrumptious. Both were incredibly moreish. The cafe also has a really nice atmosphere and some excellent music choices.

We went to The Nuts Exchange to have some breakfast before leaving Tokyo. One of the best breakfast I’ve had in my life.
Read moreBurgers were tasty and authentic. The bun it’s special, the meaty flavour it’s so good and the side dishes were amazing (we had mushrooms and maccaroni).
Sorry for the picture, I remembered to take it once I was in the food and couldn’t get away from it.
This is a MUST GO in Tokyo.

It was so so so good and the space is super cute! Had the egg muffin, cheeseburger, crepe cake. All outstanding! The egg sandwich is by far the best vegan “egg” I’ve had, it is like a poached seasoned egg with a runny yolk sauce.

We grabbed some takeaway matcha lattes and an egg muffin (should have bought two!) to take back to Yoyogi Park for a picnic (an easy walk) and they were so good! The egg muffin was honestly THE BEST. Flavours and textures were spot on. The runny yolky sauce had an eggy flavour with black salt. And the sausage patty was so tasty. And the cafe itself is so cute n cozy, a lovely place to eat in with a couple of tables inside and out. They use macadamia milk for their matcha lattes. Highly recommend!

Best ‘egg’ sandwich of my life! - Edit
The egg sandwich was so good! It really mimicked egg, and the ‘meat’ was so juicy. The bun was an English muffin / biscuit hybrid, and was great. I also really enjoyed the deli side. Coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but I enjoyed.

Food is ok, but service rations are small. Also very stingy with little things like napkins, or water...in the end they kind asked for us to bring back the plates. Weird service overall for Japan.

I was impressed by the egg and cheese muffins. They tasted so good. Also the cakes I have tried tasted really good. Can recommend this place for snacks or also for breakfast if you like to and they also offer coffee, cookies, etc.

We found this cafe by searching Happy Cow and were so glad! We had the egg muffin and cheeseburger and loved them so much we came back the next day again! We also had a matcha latte and macadaccino, both were delicious!
