Beautiful food!

We absolutely love this place, and we visit when we can, living in Scarborough it's not too far to travel and definitely worth it!! The food is outstanding and with a changing menu, it's great to try new things. The main courses are delicious, well thought out, and filling and the sweet treats are insanely gooood!! Lovely staff, dog friendly, and the old pub itself is great, with a nice outdoor seating area for when the sun shines! Hope to see you again soon!

Possibly the best food I've ever had. This venue does incredible food and I wish I lived near by so I could go every week. It was the highlight of our holiday to North Yorkshire. The chips are to die for and the service is excellent too.

Superb

Visited The Nut and Nettle for brunch and was so impressed. Delicious tofu scramble, great coffee and lovely staff. The interior is incredible, have never visited anywhere quite like it. Was so pleased to find a fully vegan pub up on the Yorkshire coast! A MUST visit.

Visited again and tried the full english breakfast (only served at weekend) - it was incredible!

Must visit

Absolutely loved it in the nut and nettle. the staff are lovely, the aesthetic is so cosy, and the food is to die for. everything is plant based so you can have your pick of the menu that ranges from waffles, to toasties, to stir fry. they also have a whole range of cakes and pasties to try or to take away. allergens are clearly labelled on the menu.

Pros: Reasonable Prices , Lovely Atmosphere , Delicious Food

Why can’t the whole world be like this?

Well, what a watering hole, a vegan pub, with beer, gurt lush! We arrived in the afternoon (to date main meals are only served until 3pm) and had tea, coffee and cakes. I say cakes, but it’s so much more than that, a real range to choose from, and each is an artwork in its own right, obviously made with love and care. Simply fantastic. Hopefully will visit again within the next few days and try a main, looking forward to that.

Pros: Everything!!

Great venue and menu.

We’d been travelling all day and still had more to do, stopping off at various vegan eateries so I’m sorry to say we could eat much (I so wanted the aubergines, next time). Had the chunky chips which were the fluffiest I’ve ever had. I also had the green juice and B had the turmeric chai. Loved the venue and would visit again to try more of the food.

Stop the search

Great location in Bridlington old town a real hidden gem. Lovely Vegan selection of main meals and cakes. We were a party of 4 vegans two adults and teens and enjoyed 3 different meals then cake. All delicious. Idea for everyone. I thought the prices where very reasonable and happy to support an independent business serving vegan food with a smile.

Pros: All options are vegan , Friendly smiling staff , Clean and nice atmosphere

Cons: None

Amazing vegan food!

One of the best vegan meals we've ever had! We had a pasta dish and waffles, both were so delicious and different to your usual vegan food. The flavours were clearly thought about and worked so well together. The place itself was cosy and staff welcoming. Just wish we lived closer!

Pros: Great flavours and not your usual vegan dishes, Dog friendly , Great vegan cakes too

Hidden Treasure

Walking past this otherwise drab building from the outside, you would never expect the vibrant atmosphere and decoration that can be found inside.

We discovered this place when searching for a vegan friendly restaurant in Bridlington, which I have so say is not an easy task. Very pleased that we gave it a try as this will definitely be the place to go on future trips to the seaside town.

Food all arrived together and tasted as good as it looked, and sounded on the menu! Feeling satisfied with our brunch, we couldn’t resist getting some homemade sweet treats for the road home.

Would definitely recommend to anyone, regardless of whether you’re after a small snack or a large lunch.

Pros: Atmosphere, Food presentation, Variety of vegan options
