Great vegan options (if in stock) - Edit
Fab to see a menu with several vegan and gluten free options. Just a shame the fish and burgers weren't actually available. Assured the vegan sausages were cooked separate to the non vegan items (I was concerned after another reviewer said this wasn't the case). Very good chips. Staff not very friendly but I guess it was hot and busy.

The Lobster Hatch - Edit
Amazing vegan ‘fish’ and chips. It’s been a long time since I had an alternative so good

Nice vegan options - Edit
Had a vegan breakfast and it was well proportioned, nice quality food and friendly staff. Only a few vegan options but those we had were nice. We ate in, lovely staff and very accommodating.

Takeaway - Edit
We visited the Noisy Lobster's takeaway which is next door to their restaurant. It's located right on the beach with lots of seating available nearby. Nice to see a couple of vegan options on the menu as they weren't available last time I visited a year or two ago.
Read moreThe vegan fish & chips is made with banana blossom and is ok but not great. A bit greasy & slightly soggy but it's the first time I have tried it so I'm not sure if it gets any better than this. The chips were nice though!
They have a separate fryer that they use for the banana blossom which is great but for some reason their 'vegan' sausages are cooked in with the fish so aren't actually vegan at all!
Pros: Nice to see vegan options added to menu, Lovely location
Cons: Some 'vegan' items cooked in same oil as fish

Banana blossom lacked flavour - Edit
I have never eaten banana blossom before but I felt it did not taste of anything as if it wasnt seasoned at all. Batter was nice, chips were OK, not really the chippy type chips I am used to though, and no curry sauce available 😩 my dog ate the rest of the 'fish' and she seemed to enjoy it! Lovely beach location though.

Tasty food & good location - Edit
Found out about this little gem on a local group and tried it today. There is a restaurant and then a takeaway hatch so you can eat in there or take food out - the prices between the two vary so its about £15 for vegan fish & chips in the restaurant or £7.80 for takeaway (pictured). They also had vegan sausage but not battered, and a vegan pizza option. Outdoor seating or sit on the beach right by the restaurant. Really tasty batter and good chips, will be going back to try the pizza next. Well worth a visit with family or friends. Note that dogs can't currently go on the beach itself only along the promenade due to current seasonal restrictions.
