Absolutely amazing - Edit
Have been so excited about coming back to Brighton to try this place out & it did not disappoint.
Read moreGreat menu with a wide range of choices and have everything you'd expect from a chippy. Was a shame on the day we went they had run out of the gravy.
I went for the vegan cod and chips, curry sauce and mushy peas. Big portion and I could have probably done with a kids size instead but it was absolutely delicious.
Excited to go again and maybe try the sausage in batter. Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, was a shame they're using single use cutlery for customers who eat in the resturant.
Pros: Large menu , Generous portion sizes, Delicious food
Cons: Slightly pricey for fish and chips , Single use cutlery, Massive portions

Quite nice - Edit
I quite liked the food they offered, unfortunately the place wasn’t that nice, the co-worker who took the order didn’t ask us if it was to take away or to eat in and just assumed that it was to take away so he served us the food in the table with in a box and a bag and didn’t really bother to ask if we want to have proper plates
Read morePros: Sufficient options, Good taste
Cons: Loads of chips 🍟 , Greasy, hard to digest and not that healthy

Not proper chippy chips or batter - Edit
After hearing great things we were very excited to try No Catch, but unfortunately it fell a bit short of our expectations. We had 2 x cod and chips, calamari and prawns and 2 drinks. We were disappointed that the chips were not proper chippy chips; they were more like good pub chips which were nice but you can get nice chips like that anywhere. The cod, prawns and calamari were all quite nice but not exceptional, especially for the price which was almost £40. The batter on the cod wasn't like traditional chippy batter, again it was more like fish you would get in a pub.
Read moreThe place was empty when we arrived and yet the tables hadn't been cleared, and the girl who took our order was quite surly, in stark contrast to all of the super friendly staff we met at all the other vegan places we ate at in Brighton.
We support what No Catch are doing, but think that there are things they could be doing better.

Must try! - Edit
Definitely worth a try if you've never had a vegan fish & chips. It was tasty and just what you'd expect from a fish & chips! My friend tried the vegan crab cakes which she enjoyed as well.

Never had real vegan fish and chips before! This was excellent. Very friendly service and the ‘cod’ and chips were so tasty! It took me back years.

We tried this at vegan camp out and it's the best we have had since being vegan. I preferred the haddock because but both cod and haddock were good.

Quality food - Edit
I thought the food was really great quality: the chips are some of the best you can get and super crunchy (both pictured). A solid 4.5 as it's pretty pricey. Highly recommend the saveloy sausage for something different as it is made with sunflower seeds but you can't tell!

Delicious! - Edit
We had the large cod and chips and regualr battered sausage and chips. A very generous portions of chips even for the regular size. I've got a feeling the difference between regular and large meal is based on the portions of chips rather than the size of the cod etc, although I may be wrong.
Read moreEverything was very tasty! The tofish was very fishy tasting (apparently marinated in seaweed water) and the batter on both the fish and sausages was heaven. Chips were crunch and not a soggy one among them. Curry sauce was a classic chip shop taste. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is the price - for two people ordering a regular meal, a large meal, two curry sauces and two soft drinks cost £31.
I've seen some reviews state they wish No Catch was more like a traditional chip shop, and while I do wish a vegan version of this did exist, I'm still a fan of No Catch Co. 100% worth this visit.

Top notch vegan chippy - Edit
Came here for lunch when visiting Brighton recently. Very impressed with the range of vegan goodies on offer. Everything we tried was really good. Service was fast & friendly too. Grab a takeaway, head across the road & grab a bench overlooking the sea or eat in if you prefer.

Fab “fish” and chips - Edit
We visit here as we were visiting Brighton for the weekend and we follow Ed and wanted to try this place out.
Read moreI had the battered sausage, chips and mushy peas and my partner had the fish and chips. The food was yum and fresh, the sausages had a great flavour. I had a taste of the fish which tasted pretty authentic. I grew up by the sea in the north east and I am pretty critical when it comes to fish and chips and these certainly didn’t disappoint!!
The service was great and even though it was pretty busy in there the food came out to us quickly and with a smile 😊
The location is great opposite the British airways i360 so if you want to eat your fish and chips on the beach instead then it’s just across the road.
Pros: All vegan , Friendly staff, Tasty food

Non vegan dad liked as well but still doesn’t understand appeal of mock meats or veganism in general I doubt I’ll ever be able to convert him but making him try bits is something I suppose.

Fish and chips by the sea. - Edit
The place is lovely inside, minimalistic and decorated with plants everywhere which I loved. Very airy inside and toilet facilities too. The chips were to die for, crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The cod was really nice at first but after a while it seemed to have a sweet aftertaste which I did not like. I got tartare sauce so I covered the sweetness with that and it was lovely.
