Nice restaurant - Edit
I’ve visited here quite a few times and they always have a vegan menu! Everything I’ve tried has been great. Last time I got the vegan sweet and sour chick’n and then a chocolate cake with vegan ice cream. It was all really nice. It seems very traditional Scottish hotel but in a nice way 😂

Restaurant at Nith Hotel - Edit
Was a little worried we’d come to the wrong place as you enter via a bar but if you pass the loos and head up the stairs you get to the restaurant. Great views of the Nith. Dd had a vegetarian burger, full of peas, corn, carrots and potatoes. I opted for the mushroom stroganoff and I was not disappointed, lovely brandy flavour with lots of sauce and mushrooms. The sundae for pudding was a little one dimensional- Swedish glacé and biscoff biscuits with a drizzle of biscoff sauce, but still tasty. Husband and brothers meals were really good - haggis and steak pie especially.
