Great vegan menu

This pub has a really well thought out separate vegan menu. The eggplant with plant based mince and tofu was delicious and my partner loved the Schnitzel he got. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Separate vegan menu

Exciting to have lots of options to choose from. Pub has a modern and pretty interior. Friendly staff. I've been working through the vegan menu. Some items are incredible, some not so much. The cannelloni and the burger are really good.

Went to the vegan festival event and all the food was incredible. I believe they hold it annually in autumn. Would recommend attending.

Nice vegan menu variety

A dedicated , substantial vegan menu was absolutely welcome.

Care with the food preparation was left unattended as my food was poorly presented and burnt

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Lack of care in presentation, Food over cooked

They definitely have more than a bowl of chips

I’ve been wanting to try the Nags vegan menu since I learned of it, it’s great to see more Newy venues really upping their game!

The previous reviews posted here have outdated menus, so I think that the menu might be seasonal. I was disappointed that the nachos and a few other dishes were unavailable.

I had the vegan bruschetta (entree size) and the vegan schnitzel w/ king avo topper. Ordering through using the QR code on the table was confusing, as the online vegan menu was inconsistent with its descriptions and “vg” labelling. For eg the standard bruschetta ($12) and the vegan bruschetta ($14) both had the exact same description listing creamed feta and a “v” for vegetarian labelling. For such an expansive vegan menu, I was expecting maybe they were using a nut-based cheese or similar but it came out with avocado instead.

When deciding if I wanted the parmi topper or the king avo topper for my vegan schnitzel, I looked at the standard schnitzel to get the description of the toppers to inform my choice. Again, the vegan version was not what I was expecting and I felt a little underwhelmed, so I asked the staff for more finishing sauce which they happily provided at no extra charge. The steamed vegetables were undercooked, but I don’t mind going a little on the raw side. Chips were good.

Out of curiosity, I grabbed the physical vegan menu after my food came out, and both dishes were 100% as described on it. I recommend using the physical vegan menu for your choices and ordering from the counter.

No photos of the dishes I ordered, unfortunately. I was too hungry. Very generous portions though, very typical pub bistro servings and prices.

Huge vegan menu

Pleasantly surprised at the range of vegan options. There is a dedicated vegan menu with more then plenty options to choose from.
Fries with veganaise
Wedges with vegan sour cream
Garlic bread pizza
Vegan nachos
Vegan eggplant schnitzel
Vegan pizza
And much more!!!

I had the vegan eggplant schnitzel and loved it! Side said could have been a bit more interesting but that the only suggestion I have.
My husband devoured his vegan nachos.
And my 2 kids loved their fries with veganaise.
Thankyou for having such a wonderful menu. If we're ever in the are again we will be back!!

Pros: Huge vegan menu

Comprehensive vegan menu

So far I’ve had the Korean kimchi dish, the mock schnitzel and the tacos. All pretty tasty but have given 3 stars due to the price. They also have vegan cheese, sour cream and aioli which is great. I’ll update further when I try more of the starters😄
