Nice Pancake Plate - Edit
The Pancakes tasted nice, cool combination! Sendai is not Tokyo or either Berlin, so do not expect something over the top. We were happy to have a nice breakfast in Sendai.

firstly PSA - the plant based burgers are not vegan - the bun contains milk. the menu also states that the vegan items are cooked on the same utensils as non-vegan items, and the waitress made this clear to us.
Read morewe both had the vegan pancake plate and really enjoyed it - it came with a potato broccoli soup, salad, pancakes with whipped cream, maple syrup and apples, and lemon pepper fried chicken. we were both full and satisfied after.
the waitress was lovely and the cafe has kind of a diner vibe. would return!

Vegan = Not Vegan!! - Edit
Sadly, their "vegan" options are all cooked on the same equipment as their other items. This means burger and bacon fat, etc. seep into the vegan items and pancakes, etc. Their vegan items are NOT Vegan. Worst of all they don't mention the shared equipment on n the menu, only later when the (in my case, pancake plate) item is served...there was a laminated explanation of the ingredients and an asterisk about the shared equipment. My fault was not reading it until after I ate.☹️ #Veganuary

Vegan spicy jerk burger was pretty tasty. You need to use the online ordering system / QR code as it isn’t on the hard copy menu. Oat milk is pricey.
