We met up with some family for dinner here after such a lovely meal last time. It is always worrying when you recommend a restaurant so highly that others may not feel the same. No need to worry in this case... the family loved it as much as we did!
We shared a starter platter which was meant for two but the five of us struggled to finish it so generous was the size! Each of us had different main courses and they too were large and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately none of us had room for dessert!
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for good, honest, home cooked food at a very reasonable price. The Mermaid remains as one of our favourite restaurants and we can't wait to go back.
