Wonderful hummus platter last time. Today . Sadly now changed the menu. - Edit

Great place with a shop. Wonderful food. The platter was fab. Good sized pot of tea. Charming last time.

Sadly just been in and menu has changed and could do with changing back in my opinion it doesn’t work.

Just had a cold (I assume should have been warm) sausage sandwich and chips were overpriced for what they were.

Amazing food ! Small cost place with loadsa books option . Read eat and repeat is all you can say ! Such a fun lil place it is ,

Brilliant Breakfast! - Edit

If you're looking for an absolutely fantastic Vegan breakfast (other options are available) then look no further!

We'd been meaning to visit the Mere Café for quite some time and decided to visit before walking back to Oswestry via the canal towpaths. The breakfast I had was HUGE and certainly set me up for the walk home! My partner had the platter and he hasn't stopped telling people about how good it was.

The café was quirky and had so many wonderful books and zero waste options and all the members of the café team we bumped into were wonderful, so friendly and helpful - we shall definitely be back.

We enjoyed our vegan breakfast and homemade soup. We loved the eco refills also available in the shop/cafe.

Very tasty lunch - Edit

Full plant based menu including breakfast, mains and cakes. I had the New Yorker sausage sandwich with vegan sausage, wilted spinach, caramelized onion and whole grain mustard. My wife had the Buddha bowl (pictured) with a flat bread. All of the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. We’ll be back soon!
