Fondue for Two

We ordered the 4-Course off the vegan menu. We were seated near the kitchen. There was a privacy curtain, but we still heard the servers constantly saying "corner." I understand the importance, but it was annoying and distracting.

The Cheese Fondue was served with bread, Granny Smith apples, broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. The cheese was melted, but thick.

I chose the Vegan House Salad, which included iceberg and romaine lettuce, scallions, and tomatoes (which I omitted). It was drenched in house-made raspberry walnut vinaigrette dressing, which was overwhelming.

We chose court bouillon for the Vegan Garden Pot, which was served with artichoke hearts, asparagus, Impossible polpettes (meatballs), mini sweet peppers, mushrooms, red onion, and zucchini. We were given broccoli and red potatoes instead of the potstickers listed on the menu. There was cocktail sauce, ginger plum sauce, and teriyaki glaze, but the vegetable broth was flavorful enough.

The Chocolate Fondue was served with bananas, pineapple, and strawberries. We were given marionberries instead of the 'Nana Pops listed on the menu. The dark chocolate and fresh fruit was a delicious combination.

I enjoyed everything but the salad, so I would order a la carte next time. Shortly after receiving the Chocolate Fondue, the server returned and interrupted our dessert to encourage us to donate to St. Jude charity in exchange for a Melting Pot gift card. I felt uncomfortable listening to the sales pitch, especially while eating.

Tip: Make a reservation and plan to stay about two hours.

Pros: vegan menu

Cons: expensive, parking
